Nvidia Corporation Chie Executive Officer Jensen Huang disclosed on Monday that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC) and Synopsys Inc. will integrate Nvidia's computational lithography library, cuLitho, to expedite and improve the production of the next generation of advanced semiconductor chips.

"Computational lithography is a cornerstone of chip manufacturing. Our work on cuLitho, in partnership with TSMC and Synopsys, applies accelerated computing and generative AI to open new frontiers for semiconductor scaling," Huang said at the GTC conference in San Jose. According to the company, "350 NVIDIA H100 systems can now replace 40,000 CPU systems, accelerating production time, while reducing costs, space, and power."

The California-based tech giant also introduced "new generative AI algorithms" that enhance cuLitho, marking a substantial leap forward in semiconductor manufacturing processes compared to existing CPU-based methods.
