Israel's President Isaac Herzog is set to meet with United States President Joe Biden in Washington on Tuesday, November 12, Herzog's office said on Sunday.

Herzog has already departed for the United States, where he met with the ambassadors of the United Nations Security Council to discuss the conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon and the release of hostages held by Hamas.

Previously, the Israel's head of state shared that he spoke with US President-elect Donald Trump, addressing mainly the need to urgently free the hostages held in Gaza.
