Amazon.com, Inc. is surveying US sellers on the impact of President Donald Trump's latest tariffs, according to CNBC on Tuesday after obtaining a company email. The company's seller relations team began contacting merchants last week, asking how the tariff situation is affecting pricing, sourcing, and logistics. Third-party sellers, who represent most of Amazon's sales, are being encouraged to share strategies for navigating higher trade costs. The company has not confirmed yet.

The report comes after Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said that while the company aims to keep prices low, many sellers are under pressure. He noted that some may end up passing on costs to consumers, as not all sellers have enough margin to absorb the added expenses.
