Democratic nominee in the 2024 United States presidential election Kamala Harris accused her Republican opponent and former President Donald Trump of seeking to jail his opponents while saying she plans to "give them a seat at the table."

"That's what leadership looks like," Harris told her supporters at a rally in Reno, Nevada. She also vowed she would "put country above party and self."

Harris promised to listen to experts and those who disagree with her, stating that the difference between her and Trump is that she doesn't believe people who hold opinions different from hers are the enemy.
