Gaza authorities reported on Monday that the Israeli overnight attack on the Gaza Strip caused the deaths of 27 Palestinians.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) didn't have comments, as it previously stated that it wants to lessen the number of civilian casualties, accusing Hamas of using civilians from Gaza as "human shields" and choosing civilian buildings as homes, hospitals, schools and mosques for its fighting sectors.

IDF conducted several airstrikes on the Gaza Strip just yesterday, amid ongoing ceasefire negotiations.
