This actively managed Sub-Fund strives for long-term capital appreciation aiming at achieving superior risk-adjusted returns. It is categorized as Article 8 SFDR. The Sub-Fund mainly invests directly or indirectly in equities and equity-like instruments including depositary receipts of companies worldwide that are expected to benefit from megatrends. It may invest via Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect in China A-Shares. It may also invest up to 10% of its assets in real estate equities, REITs abd REICs. The selection and weighting of assets is mainly based on qualitative and quantitative criteria for different megatrends. Megatrends are longterm developments that are shaping or will shape society and the economy such as rapid urbanisation, climate change and resource scarcity, shift in global economic power, demographic and social change, technological breakthroughs. It may also hold up to 20% of its net assets in bank deposits at sight. The Sub-Fund may use derivatives to achieve the investment objective and for hedging purposes.
