Koninklijke KPN N.V. is one of the the leading telecommunications and ICT service provider in The Netherlands, offering wireline and wireless telephony, internet and TV to consumers, and end-to-end telecommunications and ICT services to business customers. In addition KPN provides wholesale network services to third parties and operates an efficient IP-based infrastructure with global scale in international wholesale through iBasis. In October 2014 its subsidiary E-Plus was sold to Telefónica Deutschland. The subsidiary BASE, which operates in Belgium, was sold in February 2016 to the Belgian company Telenet. KPN was incorporated in 1989 and is headquartered in Den Haag, The Netherlands.
