The Fund"s investment objective is to generate returns that, closely correspond, before fees and expenses to the performance of the Solactive China Clean Energy v2 Index Net Total Return (the "Index"). The Fund is passively managed. The Fund will aim to achieve its investment objective by attempting to replicate the performance of the Index by investing primarily in a portfolio of equity securities that as far as possible and practicable consists of the component securities of the Index. The Fund may invest in the following mainland China-related securities of clean energy companies: A-Shares (shares of companies incorporated in China that are quoted in RMB and traded on the Shanghai or Shenzhen stock exchanges), H-Shares (shares of companies incorporated in mainland China that are traded on the Hong Kong stock exchange), N-Shares (shares of companies incorporated in China that are traded on the NYSE, NASDAQ, or the NYSE MKT), PChips and Red Chips (shares of companies incorporated outside of China and traded on the Hong Kong stock exchange, Red chips are usually controlled by the state or a province or municipality whereas P-Chips are non state-owned Chinese companies incorporated outside the mainland and traded in Hong Kong). The Fund will invest in A-Shares included in the Index through Stock Connect, which may include stocks on the Small and Medium Enterprise Board and/or ChiNext Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Clean energy involves ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy.
