The Glarner Kantonalbank, founded in 1884, is the leading bank in the canton of Glarus. It has six branches and 19 ATMs and serves customers primarily in the canton of Glarus. As a universal bank, it offers in addition to traditional banking transactions also mortgages and loans, savings, as well as asset management and retirement planning. The main shareholder is the Canton of Glarus, he is liable under law for all liabilities of the Glarus Cantonal extent that their own resources are insufficient.
