Business description
Ferrari N.V. is a world famous manufacturer of luxury sports cars and Formula 1 racing cars. In January 2016 Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. and Ferrari N.V. announced that the separation of the Ferrari business from the FCA group was completed and Ferrari shares are trading on the Mercato Telematico Azionario (“MTA”) since January 4, 2016. Ferrari story officially begins in 1947 when the first car built under the Ferrari marque, the 125 S, drove through the historic factory gates on Via Abetone Inferiore in Maranello. In the history of racing, Ferrari took part in a Grand Prix race more than 900 times. They design and build all their cars in Maranello, Italy, but they sell them in over 60 markets worldwide through a network of 180 authorised dealers. The registered headquarters of Ferrari N.V. is in the Netherlands and operational headquarters in Maranello, Italy.
