Wall Street lower at open with US tariffs around the corner

Major stock exchanges in the United States traded with losses at the open on Tuesday as the world braced for US President Donald Trump's tariffs coming tomorrow, with a media report claiming that the White House is considering a potential 20% import levy on most products.
The Dow Jones shed 0.38% or 158 points at the open, as Johnson & Johnson slid 3.66% at 9:31 am ET. At 9:30 am ET, the Nasdaq 100 lost 0.48%, with Fortinet down 1.34% a minute later. The S&P 500 started the session trading 0.36% lower, with Delta Air Lines slumping 4.43% at 9:32 am ET.
The euro traded 0.21% below the dollar at 9:29 am ET, changing hands for 1.07929.
