Major US stock futures rose on Tuesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumping more than 700 points.

The rally followed a turbulent session on Monday, during which the Dow swung over 2,500 points between highs and lows, briefly plunging more than 1,700 points.

At 4:21 am ET, the Dow Jones gained 1.89%, or 703 points. The Nasdaq 100 added 1.28%, and the S&P 500 rose 1.39%. In currency markets, the euro increased by 0.30% against the dollar at 4:25 am ET, selling at $1.09408.
