Europe mostly flat premarket ahead of CPI data

European stock indexes traded mostly flat in the premarket on Wednesday as investors assessed the latest consumer and producer inflation data from the United Kingdom. Market participants will also closely watch the upcoming inflation reports from France and Spain. Additionally, the Eurozone's industrial production data is set to be released later in the day.
The DAX, the CAC 40 and the Euro Stoxx 50 were flat at 8:00 am CET. At the same time, the FTSE 100 gained 0.37%.
The euro and the pound traded flat compared to the dollar at 7:58 am CET, selling for $1.02966 and $1.21974, respectively.
