US home builder confidence improves in April

Builder confidence in the market for newly built single-family homes went up by one point to 40 in April, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)/Wells Fargo said in a release on Wednesday.
The current sales conditions index increased by two points to 45, while the sales expectation index in the next six months declined by four points to 43. The traffic of prospective buyers posted a one-point increase to 25.
