He shared the news on Truth Social, calling the victory a "great honor" and thanking the golf staff and participants.

The head of state suggested this could be his final championship win. "Probably my last," he wrote, acknowledging he might not claim another title at his own club. An awards dinner was scheduled for the evening to celebrate the event.
