United States President Donald Trump stated that the country needed "courageous justice," saying that his administration knew "who the criminals are" and expressed a need to "get them out" of the US "and fast."

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that if the "courts don't allow what we have been allowed to do for 250 years," what he called former US President Joe Biden's "open border madness" would "destroy the US."

The president expressed concern over "criminals of every type" entering "with no retribution," claiming that "murderers, drug dealers, gang members and the mentally insane will make their home" in the US. He added that it was "not possible to have trials for millions and millions of people."
