United States President Donald Trump criticized South Africa for what he called "land confiscation and genocide" ahead of the G20 meeting, which is set to happen in Johannesburg.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump asked how the US can be "expected to go to South Africa for the very important G20 meeting when land confiscation and genocide is the primary topic of conversation?" He accused them of "taking the land of white farmers, and then killing them and their families," claiming that "the media refuses to report on this."
