United States President Donald Trump addressed mounting tensions over the pending TikTok bill on Wednesday, suggesting China is "not exactly thrilled" about the legislation.

Speaking from the Oval Office, he reiterated his longstanding criticism of Chinese trade practices, saying the US has been "ripped off" for years, and described China as "the big one" among offenders. He claimed the country is currently bringing in $2 billion daily in tariffs and emphasized strong market performance.

His comments come hours after he decided to increase tariffs on the Asian country to 125%, citing Beijing's lack of respect for global markets.
