Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to meet with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko next week, state-owned VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin reported on Sunday.

Lukashenko previously announced that he will meet with the Russian president at the end of April during the celebrations in Stalingrad, on Volgograd land, as the two countries celebrate the 80th anniversary of the WWII victory. Putin is also reportedly set to attend the Russian Society "Knowledge" education marathon dedicated to the anniversary.
