EIA: US natural gas inventories down by 196 Bcf
Working gas in storage across the United States stood at 2,101 billion cubic feet in the week ending February 14, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) revealed in a report published on Thursday.
The figure marks a net decrease of 196 billion cubic feet compared to the week prior.
On an annual basis, the natural gas stockpiles fell by 386 billion cubic feet and were 118 billion cubic feet below the five-year average of 2,219 billion cubic feet. The total working gas was within the five-year historical range.
