DoorDash Inc. reported on Wednesday that its revenue soared 27% year over year and reached $2.2 billion in the third fiscal quarter of 2023.

Total orders stood at 543 million in the three months that ended September 30, 2023, rising 24% from the same period in 2022. Diluted net loss per share attributable to common stockholders stood at $0.19, down from $0.77 in the third quarter of 2022, and GAAP gross profit advanced 5.7% to $962 million.

"We are excited by our progress so far in 2023, and even more so by the opportunity we have to further expand the scale, breadth, and impact of our business going forward," the company said in a statement. DoorDash stock jumped 7.38% in after-hours trading after the release of the report.
