The travel technology company Expedia Group said on Wednesday that Chief Executive Officer Mark Okerstrom and Chief Financial Officer Alan Pickerill are stepping down, effective immediately. Expedia’s board of directors chairman Barry Diller announced that "senior management and the Board disagree on strategy." The booking firm had disappointing third quarter results.

Mark Okerstrom has worked at Expedia for 13 years.

After the news, the company’s shares increased by 4.23% at 9:51 am ET.
