North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un characterized his visit to Russia as a "clear manifestation" of the country's commitment to prioritizing its strategic ties with Russia, the state-owned Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.

This statement comes ahead of Kim's scheduled meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the first such meeting in four years, where they are expected to discuss military cooperation and potentially an arms deal.
