A Banksy painting was auctioned off at Christie's on Tuesday for $23 million, the most ever paid for a work from the elusive street artist.

All proceeds from the auction of the painting titled "Game Changer" will go to the United Kingdom's state-run National Health Service.

Christie's auction house had a pre-sale estimate for the work of $3.5 million.
