Luzerner Kantonalbank (LUKB) is the leading bank in Canton Lucerne – with 25 branches (including one in Zurich). It is one of Switzerland’s largest cantonal banks. As a classic, full-service bank, LUKB focuses on basic banking services, mortgages, corporate financing and wealth management advice. Luzerner Kantonalbank is also active in the private banking segment and is a partner to small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Canton Lucerne and the rest of German-speaking Switzerland. The LUKB group includes the LKB Expert Fondsleitung AG (fund management company) and the LUKB Wachstumskapital AG (venture capital firm). Its principal shareholder is Canton Lucerne, which holds more than 60 percent of the bank’s shares. All of its liabilities are covered by a state guarantee of Canton Lucerne.
