Kremlin: Russia ready to develop relations with all countries
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Sunday that Russia is prepared to develop relations with all countries and "to go deep in this development as these countries themselves are ready."
Peskov noted that his country's relations with Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates are "excellent" and that these Middle Eastern countries are "showing interest" in Russia.
Speaking about Ukraine, the Kremlin spokesperson noted that "work continues" on the peace negotiations, noting that it "cannot be carried out in a public format; it can only be done in a discreet format." He claimed that it was "too early" to discuss the terms of the deal, but stated that Russia and the United States share many similar positions when it comes to Ukraine.
