Japan's inflation remains at 2.5% in May

Japan's consumer price index (CPI) stayed at the last month's 2.5% in May, the country's Statistic Bureau reported on Friday.
The national CPI excluding fresh food and the country's CPI excluding fresh food and energy also remained at 2.1% and 0.8%, respectively.
On Wednesday, The Japanese yen dropped to its lowest point against the United States dollar since late 1998, with the greenback going for 136.2005¥ at 1:57 pm CET that day.
