Yemen's Houthis spokesperson Yahya Saree revealed on Tuesday that the group's naval forces attacked a ship in the Red Sea with ballistic and naval missiles.

According to a readout of Saree's speech, the Turkish ship "Anadolu S" was hit because it disregarded the naval forces' warnings and because the company that owns the ship "violated the ban decision of entry to the ports of occupied Palestine." Saree noted that the hit was "accurate and direct."

The militant group reaffirmed its dedication to imposing a naval blockade on Israel and "targeting all ships linked, heading or dealing with it."
