Hezbollah targets Israel's Kiryat Shmona, kills one
Hezbollah claimed responsibility for launching "dozens of rockets" at the city of Kiryat Shmona in northern Israel, as well as an army base, according to a statement released on Wednesday.
The attack resulted in the death of an unidentified 25-year-old man, as confirmed by the local Magen David Adom ambulance service. Additionally, the Fire and Rescue Services have been actively working to extinguish a fire at the industrial building targeted.
The group added that the strikes were "in response to the massacre committed by the zionist enemy in the town of Al-Habariyeh" against the patients and medical staff at the Islamic Medical Association Center in the town. The IDF said it targeted a Hezbollah-allied group.
