Google is likely to face another trial as soon as September over antitrust practices, The Information reported on Friday, citing a proposal filed by the company and the Department of Justice (DOJ) with a Virginia court.

The development adds to Google's ongoing legal battles, including a separate antitrust trial in Washington focused on its dominance in search. In that case, the DOJ has suggested sweeping remedies, including the sale of Google Chrome and changes to its default settings.
