Getlink (formerly Group Eurotunnel S.A.) brings together a group of companies active in the fields of infrastructure management and transport operations. The main business segments are structured into Fixed Link and Europorte. The operation of the cross-Channel Fixed Link as a concessionaire until 2086, represents the core business of the Group. Opened in 1994, the Channel Tunnel, the vital link between the United Kingdom and the continent, has been used by more than 340 million passengers. The rail Shuttle transport system carries 2.5 million cars (Le Shuttle) and 1.5 million trucks every year, making it by far the world leader in piggyback transport.
