The fund aims to achieve capital growth over the medium to long term and provide income. The fund invests at least 70% of its assets, in equities and debt securities issued governments, quasi-governments or companies that are listed, headquartered or do most of their business in the Asia Pacific region including Australia and New Zealand and excluding Japan. These investments may be from emerging markets and some bond investments may be below investment grade. In actively managing the fund, the Investment Manager combines macroeconomic, market and fundamental company analysis to flexibly allocate investments across asset classes and geographic areas based on their potential to generate capital growth and income within the portfolio.
