The fund mainly invests in equities of companies whose activities are related to the infrastructure industry such as infrastructure ownership, management, construction, operation and utilisation, or that are financing such activities. These companies may be from anywhere in the world, including China and other emerging markets. The fund generally favours direct investment but may at times invest through derivatives. Specifically, the fund normally invests at least 70% of total net assets in equities and equity-related instruments, including convertible bonds. The fund may invest across any market capitalisation. The fund may invest through the Hong Kong Stock Connect programme. The fund may also invest in real estate investment trusts (REITs).
