The objective of the Sub-Fund is to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in Latin American securities diversified both by geographic and economic sector. The Sub-Fund will hold at least 70% of its assets in equity and equity linked securities issued by companies having their headquarters in Latin America or carrying out their predominant activities in the region. The Sub-Fund may invest in shares or equity linked securities which are convertible into equity securities, other types of transferable securities, including debt (Investment Grade fixed or variable, certificates of deposit and short and long term obligations) issued or guaranteed by the government of a country of Latin America, the US, European Union or any Member State. The Sub-Fund may invest in units of other UCITS and collective investment schemes including other sub-funds of EDM.
