DF Deutsche Forfait AG is a provider of trade finance solutions. The activity focuses on assisting export-oriented enterprises in global trade, especially with clients in emerging and developing countries. DF Deutsche Forfait AG offers the non-recourse purchase and sale of foreign trade receivables (forfaiting), which, in many cases, means that it makes cross-border trade possible in the first place. The company purchases receivables through its international network, converts them into a marketable product and sells them to investors. With a view to tapping new investor groups for the new asset class of trade receivables, the company established a subsidiary, Deutsche Kapital Limited, in 2013, which offers investors the opportunity to invest in trade finance funds.
