CNH Industrial N.V. (formerly Fiat Industrial S.p.A.) operates in trucks and commercial vehicles, agricultural and construction equipment and industrial and marine powertrain businesses. CNH Industrial N.V. became operational in September 2013 as a result of the mergers of Fiat Industrial S.p.A. and CNH Global N.V. Through its brands, the company designs, produces and sells trucks, commercial vehicles, buses, special vehicles, agricultural and construction equipment, in addition to engines and transmissions for those vehicles and engines for marine applications. Case IH, New Holland Agriculture and Steyr for tractors and agricultural machinery; Case and New Holland Construction for earth moving equipment; Iveco for commercial vehicles; Iveco Bus and Heuliez Bus for buses and coaches; Iveco Astra for quarry and construction vehicles; Magirus for firefighting vehicles; Iveco Defence Vehicles for defence and civil protection; and FPT Industrial for engines and transmissions. The group has more than 60 manufacturing plants, 50 research and development centers and is present in 180 countries.
