Compagnie Industriali Riunite SpA (CIR) is the holding company of a leading Italian industrial group. CIR is active in the business areas: Media - (publishing, radio, internet and video, advertising) with the Espresso group, Automotive components - (suspensions, filtration, air and cooling) with the company Sogefi and Healthcare - (care homes; rehabilitation; oncology treatment, diagnostics, hospital management) with the company KOS. CIR is controlled by COFIDE-Gruppo De Benedetti, the holding company in which the brothers Rodolfo, Marco and Edoardo De Benedetti hold a 52% stake. CIR was founded in 1976 by Carlo De Benedetti, currently Honorary Chairman. Carlo’s son, Rodolfo De Benedetti, is Chairman of both CIR and COFIDE.
