Boeing: 777X to be certified in 2025
The Boeing Company Executive Vice President Stan Deal expressed on Monday his expectations the airplane maker's 777X series will be certified in 2025 as the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) seem inclined to do so.
Speaking at the Dubai Airshow, Deal described the relationship between Boeing and its staff as "productive." Still, he also admitted that the aviation industry is still in the process of rebounding and that, therefore, "bumps along the road" can be expected.
The 777X project was introduced in 2013 and is currently in its flight testing phase.
