The shares of Apple Inc. jumped by more than 5% during premarket hours on Monday after United States President Donald Trump decided to exclude various technological devices, including smartphones and semiconductors, from his 145% trade duty on Chinese goods. The tariff exemption relieved investors' concerns that the prices of Apple's goods would skyrocket due to the company manufacturing most of its products in China.

Apple's stock climbed by 5.73% in the premarket trading to sell for $209.51 apiece at 4:41 am ET.
