Air alarms sound in several Russian, Ukrainian regions
Air raid alarms were declared in several parts of Russia and Ukraine, including the former country's Lipetsk and Voronezh regions, according to the local authorities.
Missile alarm sounded in Lipetsk, the local governor announced, instructing residents to take shelter inside rooms with solid walls and no windows. A rocket alert was also in force in the Voronezh region but was later lifted. There were no reports of explosions.
At the same time, air raid alerts sounded in Ukraine's Mykolaiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions. Explosions were earlier reported in Sumy oblast near the border with Russia but no information about casualties or material damage emerged.
