The investment objective of the Fund is to provide income with the potential for capital growth over the medium term. The Investment Manager will seek to achieve the investment objective by investing predominantly in a diversified portfolio of equities and bonds denominated in any currency. The Fund's exposure to the equities and bonds may be obtained through direct investment or through the financial derivative instruments (FDI) described below. Assets will be chosen based on global economic outlook, trends and investment opportunities where it is the view of the Investment Manager that a positive return may be generated for the Fund. As a result, at any one time the Fund may be diversified across asset classes, sectors, currencies or countries or may be more focused. Equities will be limited to a maximum of 80% of the Fund's Net Asset Value at all times.
