Two dead, 17 injured in Russian shelling in Donetsk

Governor of Donetsk Oblast Vadym Filashkin reported Wednesday that two civilians were killed and 17 others were injured following a series of Russian shellings. In Telegram, he said the casualties occurred in the Kramatorsk district, where one person died in Yampol, and another in Krasnotoretsk.

In addition to the human toll, several settlements across the region sustained extensive damage. In Raigorodok, 21 houses were affected, while 18 homes were damaged in Sloviansk. Also, five power lines, three gas pipelines were also damaged.

Other areas, including Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, and Siversk, also saw residential and infrastructure damage. The shelling, which struck Donetsk settlements 37 times in one day, led to the evacuation of 314 residents, including four children.
