United States President Donald Trump said on Truth Social that his team told Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser to clear homeless encampments in the city. He specifically mentioned sites near the State Department and the White House, calling them "unsightly."

Trump said his team would step in if Bowser could not handle the issue. "We want to be proud of our Great Capital again," he said, emphasizing that the city has to be "clean" and "safe" fro that to happen.

He concluded by thanking Bowser for her efforts and expressing hope for her success in addressing the problem.
