Beyonce becomes artist with most Grammy nods in history
The nominees for the 2025 Grammy Awards were revealed on Friday, with Beyonce securing eleven nominations for her country album "Cowboy Carter" and breaking the record for the most nominations in history with 99. The artist's track "TEXAS HOLD 'EM" garnered her nods for Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Country Song.
After Bey, Charlie XCX's "Brat" and Billie Eilish's "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT" garnered seven nominations. Taylor Swift received six nods for her work on "The Tortured Poets Department." Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan earned recognition in all of the Big Four categories for their respective works, "Short n' Sweet" and "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess." Additionally, The Beatles were nominated for Record of the Year with "Now and Then," a track featuring AI-enhanced vocals.
The 67th Grammy Awards ceremony is scheduled for February 2, 2024.
