ServiceNow to invest $1.5B in its UK business
ServiceNow Inc. announced on Monday that it plans to invest $1.5 billion (£1.15 billion) into its business in the United Kingdom over the next five years.
The American software company stated that it will expand its office space in the UK as it increases the number of its employees "significantly." The company also revealed its plan to invest in the artificial intelligence field in the UK by expanding its data centers in London and Newport with Nvidia graphics processing units (GPUs) for local processing of large language model (LLM) data while offering new AI teaching programs to 240,000 learners in the UK.
"Our investment accelerates the UK's push to put AI to work, empowering people, enriching experiences, and strengthening societal bonds. Together, ServiceNow and our customers across the UK are delivering a future where technology benefits everyone," ServiceNow's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Bill McDermot stated.
