South Korea's President Yoon Suk-yeol ordered to prepare a "strong response" to the latest North Korean ballistic missile launch over the East Sea, amid increased tensions between the two countries in recent months, his office said in a press release.
The planned response should also involve the international community while ensuring South Korea's "thorough readiness to ensure North Korea cannot plot a surprise provocation."
As a part of its initial reaction to the latest launch, Seoul announced it would impose new sanctions against Pyongyang.
