The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that its forces captured the Sudzha-Rylsk road in the Kursk region.

According to the announcement, the units captured the northern part of the settlement of Sverdlikovo in the same region during the attack.

The news comes a day after the ministry announced that its troops had captured the settlement of Yampolovka, located in the Donetsk People's Republic.
