Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on Friday that extends the current retaliatory measures aimed at the oil price ceiling imposed by the Western countries.

The decree, which was expected to expire at the end of this year, has now been extended until June 30, 2025. Under the decree, Russian oil and oil products cannot be sold to parties that have adopted the price cap.
