Russia launched a "massive" drone raid against Ukraine's Odessa region, the head of the local government Oleh Kiper announced on Telegram on Friday.

"As a result of the strike, the city of Chornomorsk was completely de-energized due to damage to the energy infrastructure. We are rapidly deploying staging areas. All relevant services are working on the response," he wrote.

An air raid alert remains in force in several Ukrainian regions, including Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Poltava, and Sumy.
