Nvidia Chief Executive Jensen Huang said on Thursday that he hopes the company continues its regular cooperation with China.

"We hope to continue to cooperate with China," Huang stated during a meeting with Ren Hongbin, the head of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, as reported by China's broadcaster CCTV.

Huang's visit to China was at the invitation of the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and comes amid tensions between the US and China over the semiconductor industry and tariff restrictions.
